Help picking out a sub

Hello, this is my first post here and I am looking for suggestions on a subwoofer that I can use for my daily driver. I have a huge trunk so I dont have much limitations on the size. I want it loud because some kid at my school has one 12 inch Alpine Type X and thinks he has the best system ever, I want louder. I listen to rap mostly and also some rock.

I would like to spend around $200-250 and Ill spend whatever is needed for a good amp to power it.

The best that I have found so far is a cerwin vega! 10'' stroker on ebay for 200 shiped.

two 12" type -r's will get fairly loud for that budget

I recomend you get the two type r's they will out pound a type x any day of the week.
