help picking an amp

with your price range it shouldnt be hard at all on ebay

Yes, that is a nice choice! BTW, that head unit your getting seems to be simialr to a excelon . That should sound good togeather.

i know i always say power acoustik butt yeah their cheap and their close to the watts they say they do but you can get an a1800db or a2400db for under 300 bucks

that phoenix gold wont power them for crap. get the power acoustik a1800db for em

EDIT: never mind i though you said type r's. in that case get a a1000db

Im not sure on which amp to get, the a1000db seems to be a bit better than Phoenix Gold R8.0:1 but not sure. Also, what will more RMS watts do to the sub, because I see that the PG has 100 more and the PA has 75 more watts, the subs say 300 RMS and peak at 900, is this ok? (sorry just want to know that im not going to blow anything)

well 75 more watts isnt gonna make it all that louder at all... maybe itll be like a split hair louder, you need to go either double or nothing to get noticible db changes

what Gauge wire or what wire kit to I need for the a1000db? or what would you guys recomend
