R.I.P. Gossamer!!
Nuh uh.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifAmps aren't CEA-rated. They either do or do not comply with CEA 2006 ratings standards (this is a completely voluntary decision at the discretion of the manufacturer)In that situation I would reccomend a KX2500.1 or the new 06 model ZX2500.1. It's rated at 2 ohms, but if you are measuring a 1.5 load after the parrallel, then you are fine.
This is a solid amp that will give you its rated power and more.
Plus, it's CEA rated I believe.
Back on topic - Diamond Audio D61500.1 is a rock-solid amp. Pricey but dependable as an oak tree and all the birthsheets I have seen on them thus far have fallen between 1.8 and 2kW.
