Help on wiring...bridging...easy question!

I have two pairs of speakers. Two speakers in one can on one side. Another two speakers in one can on another side. Each can needs around 400 watts or so at 4 ohms.

I also have a Kicker ZX850.4. Specs are: http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=3959

Basically bridged that amp can put out 425 by 2 channels. I'm looking at the amp right now. On the side of the amp it says AMP 1 and AMP 2 for the speaker connections. Under AMP 1 it gives me L+ and L- then R+ and R-. To the right of that is AMP 2 and that also gives a L+ and L- and then a R+ and R-.

In between that it says BRIDGE WIRING and thats L+ and R -.

I have 4 speaker wires. Two positives and two negatives. Where do I put them?

If each speaker is 4 ohms, then you can not bridge two together as a 2 ohm load. You can only bridge into a 4 ohm load.

yes I know, each speaker is not. Each can is loaded to 4 ohms.

Can #1 = Purple (+) Purple (-). Does this go to AMP 1? As per the amp instructions L+ and R-?

Can #2 = Green (+) Green (-). Does this go to AMP 2? As per the amp instructions L+ and R-?

So basically 8 terminals devided into 2 pairs of 4.

On the first pair of 4 speaker terminals you have AMP 1

On the second pair of 4 speaker terminals you have AMP 2.

(I'm trying to make this as easy as possible to visualize).

Step BY step:

You take the (+) from Can 1 and put that into L (+) under AMP 1. Then take the (-) from Can 1 and put that into the R(-) still under AMP 1.

Then you take the (+) from Can 2 and put that under L (+) under AMP 2. Then take the (-) from Can 2 and that under the r(-) under AMP 2.

Correct?

This is exactly what I did. Just imagine where it says "SUBS" substitute it with "Speaker Cans." Did I do it right?

What exactly are you asking b/c it seems straight forward with what you have to do.
