Help On Wiring 3 batteries

Okay I need help I have three batteries one under the hood and two in the trunk would I wire them the same way as if it was just two batteries... Help Please Befor I fvck around and blow up some shii

Positive to positive, negative to negative. Not really that hard..

Thanks thats what I was thinkin... I just aint wanna blow up anything because I kno I gotta use a fuse on the positive wires

fuse under the hood and in the trunk that way it stops the electrical flow before it passes into a new compartment....stops possible fires due from shorts

What type of system are you running that requires an additional 2 batteries?

Also, on the topic of batteries...can you run distro blocks off of each battery or does everything have to be done at the last battery in the series?

if the last 2 batteries are close together it wouldnt matter too much but say you had a battery on each side of the trunk i would tap into the one with the shortest run to the amps

Interesting. Would a smaller battery (like one for a motorcycle) be better on the car than using a cap? Or does the technology behind the cap make it a better solution? Also, how does the battery effect the alternator? I read on the link above that it shouldn't cause any problems, but is that always the case or would the guy above need a larger alt as well?

I'm thinking of taking my fiance's old car and making an spl ride out of it just for fun and want to learn about the things I will need.

using a small battery like a cap requires the whole electrical to be up to par. if you end up using a small battery on a big system with no other upgrades it will melt eventually. the effect on the alt is dependant on the load the battery has on the alt. for spl people generally dont use caps or small batteries unless its just added 2v cells
