Ok guys
I have 2 Massive audio P1500d's also have kicker KX800.4, I just ran 1/0 guage from the front to the back, I have a 125 circuit breaker by the front batt under the hood, and 100 circuit breaker by the batt's in the rear. I have a yellow top and redtop in the rear. I have a stock alt, and i went to change the wire to 4 guage, and I must say, it looked like it wasnt a job for me. I saw were to take the wire off the alt, but were it was running to get back to the batt, it was not something i felt i could do with out day dreaming about something getting really messed up. I need to know what kinda current these 3 amps will be pulling. I also had a ford mechanic tell me that changing that wire of the alt, isnt really going to change very much, as the factory wire is what is recommended. He said with the 3 batts, i should be fine, and not to play the system at high level with out the truck running, but I know that from systems class 101. Anywas, any help or input on this matter will be greatly appreciated!!!!!
