Hey guys...im getting my car back in a week or so. Its a 96 thunderbird. Its been in my family since it was driven off the lot brand new. Im having the motor rebuilt, and when I get it back im starting the system.
I already have the headunit, and Alpine type-s' speakers all the way around...so now im focusing on the sub-stage.
I need some first hand input on quality subs. I Know most of the quality subs, and I have had my sights set on the SSA Icon. Im thinking about going with 1-12" or 15" of whatever I get so I have enough room to go ported.
Im thinking about going with a Sundown 1000D amp. The aim is SQl...but I want to sound good primarily, but be able to get loud too. A buddy of mine had DC lvl 4's, and they got LOUD...how does the ICON compare, and would you reccomend it for my application?
