In my opinion he needs to sell it and buy something more practical for a daily driver.

The guy who was hitting 158db's with one XXX 15" had a civic hatchback, I believe 1991or92. It was in a wall-like ported box. And yes I am positive it was Lin X. He was running two RF 1501bd's, this was a competition setup.

Mine is a daily driving setup, but usually I run 2300-2400 watts (which was metered at 151-152db's). The time I hit 154db's I was running my Viper Audio 2500d at full power, which I'm sure does around 2600-2700watts, so for this instance it would be more of a competition usage.

and you talk about needing so much more electrical upgrades to power a solo x. you'd need 300amps of current max and for that 2500D i'd hope you are running 200amps of current. also, it will not i repeat will not do 2500+ without total full volume on the h/u and a 14.4 volt steady hold. which at 220amps which is what i am pretty sure it draws at full tilt is rather hard to supply.

OK MAYBE now seeing as I have seen an insane cabin gain from such cars. But I am still kinda sketch.For shits and giggles lets say his car gives him an oh say..5db gain, thats still a 153 on a LINX...I just dont see that with 3kw, but then again maybe Im just stupid.

The viper runs the same at 12-14.4 volts, the only advantage the higher voltage is little more watts.That comes directly from tech support at DEI.

I still need proof.

I thought that was 17x? But **** that is some knowledge right there.

I know with the 9515 and 4 DEI 1100d's he did 170.9

169.9 with the 10" DD...I believe he used different amps, though.

Pretty sure he also switched to dual Solo X's this season, if I'm not mistaken.

You can tell Nate knows what he is doing- it's nearly impossible to pull such high numbers with around 5kw.

dual 2500D's my friend. 1 or 2 i think somewhere in there.

Oh Ok,well it was still almost 170. Yea I believe he went with dual soloX's and 4 kx 1200.1's ...I think, I am pretty sure though.

I would never question that guy's integrity, never. He would be someone very interesting to meet.

I love how everyone is so sure that everything is metered on a Linear X...

I really don't think that too many people realize that there are not that many LinXs out there because they are so expensive.
