Help on securing my box

I installed my new box a month or so ago and I noticed it slides forward a lot behind the seat causing the cones to hit the back of the seat. It doesn't need to be super secure because even in the case of an accident the box isn't going to get past the seat and cant go up because its under the hump on the back wall. I just wanna do something to keep it stationary. I was thinking about either screwing self taping screws into the back wall or floor from inside the box. Would that be fine?

Edit: I guess those won't work then....my box is bolted down through the floor. Drill through the box, through the floor and bolt it down.

Just be sure not to drill into anything important underneath it

haha that sure would **** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif I already looked under the truck though and didn't see anything under where I would go through.

Instead of using bolts how would selt tapping screws fair? That way I would be able to do this by myself instead of another hand.

Some vehicles come with cargo tie-downs or even side walls that have them as well. Does your truck have any of these?? If not, guess you gotta come up with something creative...and like he said, not to drill into something important.

Nope I don't have any of those. I wanna do something simple that will hold the box in place but will also be easy to remove when I want to change the box out.

if possible, have someone hold the box in place and drill from under the car and up. won't have to worry about hitting anything important under the car.

self tappers would work. i wasn't sure if they would hold up either, so i tried and tested them and the floor panel wouldn't budge up down or sideways, nor with the 200lb box on top screwed to it.
