Help on paypal dispute

Hey I was wondering how to do the charge back or w/e and get your money back. Im almost tot he point of doing it. i bought something ff another site froma guy I dont know a week ago. Sent him 3 emails and got one back saying he would ship out fri. I told him take your time just stay in communication with me. Sent him an email the last 2 days wanting a tracking number and have gottennothing. I told him I would give him 48 hours t get back to me and if i got no email im opening a dispute. Whats the easiest way to do it to make ysure you get your money back. I did not gift it. Sent it for "goods"

The answer to the OP's actual question:

Open the Detail's page of the transaction, and go to the bottom of the page. You should see a button that says RESOLVE A PROBLEM. Click on it, and it should be self explanatory after that. The initial details will be a DISPUTE, in which time the seller or buyer will have time to make comments as appropriate. You have 20 day's to keep a dispute open before it goes away. At any time during that 20 day's, you can click on the link within to escalate the dispute to a claim.

I recently had to do a dispute and its relatively painless. Guy wasnt really responding to my PMs and emails so I opened one up. Seller gets 3 days to respond if no response then they refund you the money...

File a claim but you wont get anything because he has already spent it I'm sure. You got scammed man, be smarter next time.

paypal will give you your money and go after him ..so you will get your money back it doesnt work the way your sayin,

i know all that .. i have done it several times.. but i have heard of people doing chargebacks or something?? this si what iw as referring to

The chargeback u must do with your credit card company, not paypal.
