Help on my mojo15@kx1200.1

pls help

i went to this shop a honda hatchback has 2 10 inch lanzar subs on a ported box and a rockford 501s and his set up is almost as loud as mine

pls help whats wrong with this set-up

subs:memphis mojo 15inch @1ohm on a ported 3.25cu ft 35hz vent tuning

amp for sub:kicker kx1200.1 using only 4ga power wire and a anl fuse holder with 150amperes

3-way x-over:kicker kx3

seps:jl xr650

rear speaker:stock

im using a medium size medium power battery

problem2=sumtyms my bass is so powerful after 2 songs my bass lessens pls help

this is my HU AMP CROSSOVER SETTINGS

amp bass boost is at 1/4

amp gain is about 1/8

amp freq 50

x-over sub out gain is 3/4

x-over freq 70

x-over sub out bass boost 1/4

HU volume is 30 but maximum is 60

HU EQ settings are VOCAL

HU SLA is +1

your setup is very respectable. only thing i can suggest is maybe a ho alt, and soundeading. tuning higher will get you louder but cost you on the low notes.

With that little of power I would recomend more cube if you can fit it. I would do 4cube at 37hz if you can fit it

Turn your gain up from 1/8 to a little less than 1/2. that will help a lot.

Also are using the remote bass knob? If so you need to turn off the bass boost on amp to zero. Using the bass knob now only controls the gain in order for you to get the full range of gain the knob will be all the way to the right. Ultimately you may need more power but at 1/8 gain you won't be getting it. Keep us posted...Polo.

a bigger box will help out since you dont have alot of power, is that a dual 2 or quad 1 mojo? reason I ask (and I could be wrong, so correct me if i am) is that the quad mojo has more spiders, and that ultimately leads to a stiffer suspension, which kinda means its not all that efficient...

my buddy has two RF HE2 12's sealed and a 501s and it was quite quite loud... dont underestimate, and hatch = loud... what is a cefiro2000?
