help on head unit, fit kit

and i got it and it says 1974-1988 t bird, and it dont work, i cant find a fit kit for an 89 t bird, but with my sony deck, it fit in there i dont have the metal casing http://parts.pioneerelectronics.com/part.asp?productNum=CNC8659

do you think if i bought that it would fit ?

You sure you got the 6700 and not the 5700?

According to my book, you need the 5700...

yeah should be the 99-5700. The 6700 works for most of the jeep/chrysler vehicles.

the 5700 is the older ford kit.

Do you have pictures of your dash? I would be able to tell you what kit you need. For some reason, I'm thinking you don't need a kit, just a cage mount.
