Help on family car

Sounds like you're gonna need an Suv with a 3rd row. I'm partial to Yukons myself. I own an '06 GMC Yukon and had an '01 before that. They're extremely reliable with plenty of room, plenty of power, and loaded with features.

my dad just picked up a 09 mountaineer for 28k, has third row and leather, AWD, 20 inch rims and all that good stuff. we looked at the tahoes and stuff but they were all in the 35 range so it was to much for him.

Hadn't even thought of those. Anyone have any opinions about the acadia or the Outlook

i cant belive no1 has said this go for a land rover lr3!!!
Doesn't land rover have some of the worst dependability figures?

J.D. Power’s 2007 manufacturer dependability ratings rank Land Rover at the bottom of the list, with owners reporting a total of 398 problems per 100 vehicles during the first three years of ownership. The industry average is 216, while Buick and Lexus got the top spot in 2007 with 145. Suzuki (324), Isuzu (322), Saab (319) and Volkswagen (298) sit directly above Land Rover in the rankings.
