help on enclosure for 2 DA D6 subs

I have an already built 1.25-1.3 cu ft dual 12" box that i was planning on using for 2 DA D6 12's. The factory recommendations is super small at .875cu ft. I've heard of people using this sub at 1.25cu ft with good results but i wants to make sure. Will 1.3cu ft sound good?

why not port them? bigger sealed box is fine.. should get deeper in theory

i like the sealed, punch sound i get out of a sealed box. ported is cool but with these subs i want to go for optimal SQ.

tune low and you still can get good SQ.
