Help on Choosing an Amplifier

Hi! I'm really new to this and need a little help with selecting an amplifier. I just picked up 2 Pioneer 500 W subs along with Kicker K46 4x6 speakers for my '92 E-150 van. I have a Pioneer DEH-14 head unit that outputs 45W X 4.

Should I get a mono, dual channel, or multi-channel amp? I've already gathered that JBL should be a good brand to go with, but I'm more than willing to hear any other suggestions. Thanks! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Hi! Thanks for the responses guys, but I have a problem. My H/U has only 1 preout and that is for the rear, so I think a front amp isn't possible. Is there another way to wire one in?

not a problem most amps have line level inputs...you could just run the speaker wires from the h/u to the amp.....good luck....the other option would be a line level converter....
