Help on a box design

Has anyone here designed a box for a 2006 crew cab silverado that fits under the rear sear? Having some difficulty.

I have my box behind my seat, 6 8's in it sealed. But this company makes prefab for under the seat http://www.subthump.com/silverado.htm

I am about to have the same dilemma on my gmc sierra with a sub that has a 7.5 inch mounting depth. Hopefully someone will have some input, but if not I'll let u know how mine goes. I'm a newbie, so this should be interesting, if not incredibly frustrating.
