Help Needed on Chevy Speaker Install

Hello, I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado. I am looking to replace all the door speakers in the car with Infinity Kappa speakers. I know the back speakers are 4x6, but when it comes to the front I get a little confused. I have read the the whole in the door is actually a 6 3/4 hole but everyone tries to sell the 6.5 to me. But I see that infinity makes a 6 3/4 speaker called the kappa 652.9 speaker set. Has anyone installed these or know anything about the speaker size that will fit in the front door. I have gotten many different answers and I need to know for sure before I order. Thanks

I have the same truck, extended cab.I just ordered four 6.5" speaker for my truck. On another forum that I frequent, a member there said that he replaced his speakers with 6.5" all around. His was also an extended cab. I don't know about the 4x6 speakers. Is your truck a regular cab?
