I am putting two RSDC 12's under the back seat of a 2004 quad cab dodge ram. They will be sharing 1.8 sealed, filled with poly, firing up. I want to give them 1000-1200 watts RMS. I was originally going get two DVC 4ohm drivers, wire them to 1 ohm, and go with a Sundown SAE-1000D, or something comparable. But, I have recently been told that 1 ohm would put a strain on my electrical, and shorten the life of the amp. So, should I get DVC 2 ohm drivers, and wire them to 2 ohms?
