ok big problem.... my left tweeter stoped working. so i took the speaker out snipped the tweeter wires turned the system on , i then used the left speaker wires to power just the tweeter no sound ....my tweeter wire soldier joint broke up in the cup. well when i went to shut the system off the two wires touched and arched ****............//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif now that i fixed the tweeter .

the sub pops when i turn the system on and i hear alot of engine alternator whine WTF

if they are whining you have two choices, spank them and tell them to go in the room or give them what they want. it will only lead to more whining though.......

most likely pico fuse is blown. search for how to fix the pico fuse issues. u need to ground the rca outs on the cd player now. as for the popping idk what causes that

Ok used mp3 to test. Bypassed headunit mp3 player direct to my amp. No noise. Plugged headunit rcas back in noise is back. So it has to be the headunit correct?

Likely the pico fuse issue mentioned, so technically yes the head unit. There is a

workaround for it by grounding the rca outer sleeve (negative). RCA's don't go bad

2 at a time, so not likely to be the issue.
