When I have the gain all the way up it's fine as soon as I start turning it down it cuts out real bad like no bass at all. I have it hooked up with the low level inputs and 4 ga. wiring. It's hooked to a 2 ohm load. I guess it must be the gain control gone bad hugh??

TIA

It doesn't take care of the problem because as soon as I start turning down the gain the sub quits working all together and maybe every five seconds I get a blast then it goes off again.

I just got the amp used so I don't know what the guy I bought it from did. I have it all the way up because that's the only way it works.

Thanks boomnblzr, that's some useful information. I don't have a remote but I'll check the RCA's and the ground. If that doesn't do it I guess I'll just keep it all the way up at least it works. Maybe I'll give MTX a call.
