should i trade my orion for a jl 500/1?

should i trade my orion 1200.1 for a JL 500/1 ?? my buddy is selling his slash series for 250 but im thinking if i want it, i could trade him my orion and some cash for his slash series. or is it just not worth it? i wouldnt be using it i would just have it as a souvenir for now until the GF gets a car or something like that. im running an idMAX with an mtx 1501d @ 1 ohm right now.. but should i trade my orion for the JL just to say that i have a JL slash series?

the 500/1 is a good amp to always have but if your never going to use it, i wouldnt trade for it and then having to give money for it when you already have a 1200w amp, but thats just me

The JL is a nice amp, but so is the Orion. Plus the Orion is twice as powerfull.

Especially if it's your 1200D PLUS CASH.

Slash 500/1 is a nice amp (rock solid build quality), but I tend to HATE regulated power supplies. I want 500 watts at 12V and close to 800 at 14. Not 500 at both.
