alright he has a single cab s10 truck and he listens to country rock and a little rap so i think sealed would be the way to go for the music and cause he has no room really....well anyways he has 300$ to work with he was looking at 2 type e's but i dunno if there is better for cheaper or the same price and he needs some door speakers to so he needs subs/amp/speakers/then wireing get the 4 gauge amp kit

What about the box? Are you guys going to build it?

Might want to toss around the idea of a single 12 or 15. Due to the small slace in a single cab truck you will be able to give one sub pleanty of room, or possibly choke 2 in the same space.

If he likes Alpine, you can get a single 12 Type R for about $110 or so, and that will still let you get a decent amp. I am sure the classifieds have something that would work, there is also some wiring available as well.

What about a couple Assassin 10's? $70 a piece, and that will leave you $150 or so for an amp, and wiring can be found rather cheap.
