Hey everyone,

Im sure you guys read a million of these...well a million and one. I want to do a set up in my new car.Looking to go the its nice but dosent have to be competition quality approach. I want an all around good setup not insane bass heavy system but I want to fee the lows.

I was thinking:

Kenwood KAC-8105D

Helix Blue 12''

Then eventually followed by Helix 6.5's all round for the front and back speakers.

What do you guys think? To little or just right? Think I'll be cool with this setup? Brand wise what do you recommend? I heard Kicker and Polk are righteous choices to. I also thought about Polk Audio Db1222

For the above amp and sub and box and install with hardware I was quoted at like 500$. Somewhere in this area im looking to spend for the sub and amp out the door in my car. Thats kind of $$ where im at. Ill do the 6.5s next, followed by possibly a new headunit.

I would step it up some to about 500 - 600w rms system power, if you expect to feel anything....and trust me, it is sooo much more self gratifying to attenuate the bass output, if needed, than to wish you had more after you spent the $$.

something like this:

Dayton Audio TIT320C-4 12" Titanic Mk III Subwoofer 4 Ohm 295-404

on something like this bridged mono for 600w rms @ 4 ohms:

Precision Power PPI P600.2 (p6002) 2-Channel Phantom Car Amplifier

kinda like going from meow to ruff. ruff..but not quite the Rawwwrrrrr of a 3 headed monster in the car with you....lol.
