so my problem, is my amp cuts off when i put it at a certain volume. the amp will go into protection, than turn off completely for like a second than turn back on. i cant figure out wut the problem is. ive done some trouble shooting and have only been able to determine that its the front spkrs, i think. cuz when i turn the gain up for the fronts, it will cut off, but the rear is no problem. so i think it has to be something with the front speakers. heres my gear....

infiniti kappa components 6x9's in the door.

infiniti reference 6x9's in the rear

kicker 650.4

pioneer avic d3

any idea wut it could be?

what size power wires and speaker wire for front you using?

my next guess might be to make sure one of the speaker wires isnt bumping against any metal in your door.

if you disconect the rear speakers on the amp, does it still cut out? next try vise versa with front disconnected and turn the front gain up to make sure its not something internally wrong in the amp.

i assume the front speakers are proper ohm for the amp.

i'd also try connecting your rear speakers to your front outputs on the amp and see if it does it or not. that should eliminate anything else.
