amp upgrade suggestions

upgrading my current alpine mrp-m500 amp next weekend, the amp will be for a single 12" type R (might sell sub??) looking for 1K-1.5K rms. what are some good NEW amps. ive already looking into getting one of the hifonics bxi 12/16 amp so if people have some opinions on that amp or others please share, also not looking to spend more then 250-300ish //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

well if you want to spend 250-300 look into a used sundown 1000d

or

orion 1200d

or a kicker 1200d!

and the type R wnat about what 600rms each so how about 2 type r's?

type r's can take way more than 600 thats why im upgrading, or else i wouldnt waste money on a amp when mine is 500 already:wow:

and i posted saying a new amp not used. as for the kicker, not much looking for a BIG name brand like alpine kicker and such its over priced.
