SIZE="2"][/size][/size]hey i am a newbie to this site and i was wondering if i could get some help

before i go and order an amp for my two alpine type R's that are 2 ohm that i have in a Zenclosure box. i was thinkin about a mrd m1005 but then i dont no if that will be enough wattage out of them . if anyone has R"s or has a great amp that would power them great please let me no thanks a million!

I have two type-r tens and a m1005. With the gain bumped a bit beyond the "clipping point" IT POUNDS. I could only imagine that it would do more for 12" seeing as they have the same drivers. However it should be noted that im running at 4omhs, so you should get even better results. Go for it.

is the box ported? If not build your own tune it around 35hz since thats a good number and it should hit a lot harder

Yep i built mine to alpines spec which i wanna say is around 38Hz the diffrence was insane.
