Help me with an amp...

I recently purchased a VGA 320.4 amp on ebay and have it powering 2 Alpine type r comps. Being that I am a complete newb, could someone tell me whether or not the remaining channels on the amp would be enough to power 1 Alpine 10" type r sub? 4 X 80 RMS 4 Ohm

4 X 160 RMS 2 Ohm

2 X 320 RMS 4 Ohm

im guessing get the 4ohm or 2 ohm id get the 2 ohm though it would power it but it wouldnt get that loud would add decent bass though

Power one, yes. power one well, no.

it would do you much better to find a nice cheap 1-2 channel amp for the sub.

Don't know your price range but this is one I found quick that I would use. A profile, lanzar, or equivilent with about 300 rms would do you well for cheap.

How do you think that would work out?

You see, you compare the RMS of each to each other and hopefully, they're close, and you take the impedance of each and hope they match or see if they can be bridged to match. most basic way i can explain it. the 500.4 would work much better but i still think you might be happier with 2 amps imo.
