help me wire my amps...

Hello everyone!! I am starting a new build and am familiar with most stuff but have never had a real good system.

Here is what I am going to run....

the amp is an Audison AV5.1k 75x2, 140x2, 600x1 at 4 ohm/ 75x2, 250x2, 1000x1 with 2 ohm options

I may also run a smaller alpine 160w amp for rear fill.

Total amp from fuse ratings is 140 amps, distance is 18-20 ft.

This is all going in a 1961 Impala convert.

My question is on the power wiring. I am considering either knukonceptz or weld cable. The amp will only accept up to a 2awg for power and ground.

I have included 2 pics of what I am thinking of using to wire it......

Thoughts?

use the first schematic, either one will work the same but the first is much simpler and in my opinion the best option.

Make sure you use a fuse by the battery. Welding cable is cheaper and you can always get inputs that will match the size. Mylows10 does big three kits look him up he's got a thread in the electrical section even shrinks and installs your terminals.

Do you think that if I can get 2g wire at a good price it would support both these amps?
if you can, but 4 gauge will be fine up to ~1500RMS provided that you get high quality oxygen free wire, as a suggestion, I would buy something like this. I personally really like soundqubed, very high quality products, so this should be fine for your set up.

i don't see a link in your response that you are referring to.
