Help me settle this bet...

Im looking into getting a new sub for my 99Stang. I am going to run either 2 PG Titanium 1200.1's or a Jl 1000/1 to the sub. I want to go with a 13.5 W7, but a friend of mine thinks that two Volfenhag DVC 12's powered with a bridged 900.2 Interfire would be insanely louder.... Any thoughts?

That's like comparing apples to dogshit.

The dogshit being Volfenhags... Which would you rather eat???

If you have 500 or so to spend on a sub, look at a 15" Stereo Integrity Mag or a

15" TC Sounds 3hp or a Digital Designs 15" D9515... All these subs should cost tthe same or less than a W7 and match or beat it in output and quality.

I couldnt imagine that a jl 1000 running a 13w7 wouldnt be loud enough, but to each there own. hope your going sealed. would hate to get a ported box in the back of that stang.

I have heard a lot of subs that can put out some power but sound like a wet sock hitting a box. Heres a good ?, does it matter which way the sub faces in the car? Mind you i spent over 500 just in Dynamat. if you think you have seen overkill, trust me you havent. There isnt a piece of metal in my car that doesnt have dynamat. which way should i face it?

The SI MAG is one of the best subs I have ever tested. I did not have a mic to do db testing, and I did not have an RTA to =do SQ testing, but I wrote a very positive article for momentum on them. Heck talk to bigbassman about his, he has tested more subs than me and he loves his new MAGs

HAHAHAH, only on the doors and rear quarter panels. i pulled the skin off for paint and while they were off put dyna in there too. You gotta understand i have a 302 5.0 Engine blueprinted, bored and stroked, with all the trimmings, with BBK Long tube headers, high flo cats, and American Thunder Exhaust. It makes a TON of noise, so the dyna is not just for the speakers, its to keep my sanity when i want to just ride around with no music and still hear myself think...lol. Will a 15 Mag fit in a mustang trunk?

So true my brother, also the dub7's aren't known for being the loudest subs (except 8" ) . Sound quality wise the dub7 would walk on the hag's. lucky... I need dynamt to soften the sound of my power steering pump.. it has more HP than my 2.5 4cyl in my Ranger.
