Hello, I have a 2013 VW Jetta with the fender audio from the factory. The car still has the factory head unit. The car already has amp wiring in the trunk. I hooked up the amp (power, ground rca) and the subs are not working. I also see two wires from the factory sub hanging down which appear to have an adaptor off the factory wires to sub in trunk. Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.

Here are some pictures of what’s going on

I don't know anything about that Head unit. How is the amp is getting its signal from the HU. Are the RCAs from the AMP plugged into an LOC? If your amp is powered on and your not getting sound then I would look at the signal from HU. If that checks out then I would say check your amp for output with a multimeter.

Set the gain about half on your amp that would be a good starting point

So I pulled the head unit out and there is a LOC already connected. Everything is correct and getting power. I guess the next step is to check the output on the amp.
