Help me please!!!

I'm a beginner when it comes to car audio so could someone answer this for me... If an amp is 1500 watts x 1 at 2 ohms, could you power 2 subs with it or just one??? If it is 750 watts x 1 at 4 ohms how many subs can you power with it??? Help me please!

You could power as many subs as you want.

1500x1 means the amp will dish out 1500 watts into one channel. You can feed that to however many subs you want. The wattage will be shared among the subs though, so if you have 2 subs, each sub wont get 1500 watts, more like 750 each.

Watts or ohms have nothing to do with how many subwoofers you can power, but with how much power each sub gets.

unregestered- watts and ohm has a lot to

do with how much speakers and how much watts/power

each speaker will get at various speaker loads ( ohms)

for example 1--1500.1 amp at (2ohm mono)

you can use-1svc 2 ohm sub for 1500 watts to that sub

or 2-svc 4 ohm subs wired in parallel for a 2ohm load

each sub will get 750 watts each

or-2 dual 2ohm subs wired in series/parallel for a 2 ohm

load. each sub will get 750 watts each

or 4-- 8 ohm subs wired in parallel for a 2 ohm load

each sub will get 375 watts each.

or-1-dual 4 ohm sub wired in parallel for a 2 ohm load

that sub will get 1500 watts

just make sure that the subwoofers that you are planning

to use can handle the watts/power at these loads.

Also to add to the post above mine, if you plan on running 2-ohms or lower, make sure your amp will be able to handle it. If I am correct, with the specs you supplied, I think you are talking about the bd1500, and that is stable down to 2-ohms.
