help me picking an old Alpine cassette player...

hey ill put one old alpine tape player on her car, they are break into cars here like they're having breakfast or something, so that's our decision... it got to have at least a pair of pre-out and to control cd changers so it's got to be a TDM

now i need to know which alpine is the best for me... well i know 3 models that were well known here and ic an have easy access to, they are TDM-7513, TDM-7531, TDM-7524 and TDM-7544

among these, which one is the best? can someone please help me find specs for each?

and who has ever had any real experience with any, please share them here, i wanna hear? we're looking for a unit with good sound quality (nothing amazing, but enough for us)

though i know nothing about mobile cassette head units i HAVE heard that some of them do have amazing SQ. just look at some websites, Alpine and Eclipse make what seem to be solid units, good luck.

can you help me finding ones with good reference for SQ? maybe some of them i can find here to acquire

I saw something pretty nifty on JoeGibs sounddomain site. He stuck the factory unit in the dash with no wires plugged in and ran all of the wires in to his center console where the deck is hidden. Looks factory from the outside to deter theives.
