I saw something pretty nifty on JoeGibs sounddomain site. He stuck the factory unit in the dash with no wires plugged in and ran all of the wires in to his center console where the deck is hidden. Looks factory from the outside to deter theives.

Thats pretty tight. The thing is working with the console to fix it like that though.... Plus I think the whole plan would be ruined if you did any mods to the exterior of your car. A fancy exterior would still make a thieve break one of your windows and see whats in it.

ill sell u a casette deck that comes with a discman and the adapter to play teh discman through your tape deck. ill even through in the DC/AC adaptor for the discman that plugs into the cigarette lighter so the discman never runs out of batteries. all of this for two hundred dollars plus tax.
