Help me pick!

Ok, this question is prolly only asked every other thread, but! i just need a lil help. I have a jeep grand cheerokie and i think i could get a nice 15 SX back there, or a 15 inch XXX. This is my problem.. im not sure which one to go with. Im told that they both have great SPL(which is what i am looking for) The biggest difference though is with the SX i could keep the amp i currently have, JBL 1201.1 right? is there a notciable difference between these subs? Tell me what you think, Thanks.

You could get the XXX with the dual 1 ohm which would match up with the amp perfectly. The XXX has better SQ than the SX and IMO overall is a better sub for most applications.

my amp isnt stable at one Ohms and it only puts out like 1100 at two ohms, dosent that sub need 1500 watts?

He said dual 1 ohm which would wire in series to 2 ohms I'm not sure if you can get d1 though. Maybe quad2 you'll have to talk to re about that. And the xxx doesn't need 1500 watts. 1200 watts is plenty for it to get moving in a decent sized box.

Yeah, i think i am going to go with the 15 SX, it would be somewhat cheaper and I don't think its that much of a difference between the two. Thanks guys

the BP 1200.1 is stable at 1 ohm homie. you could get the XXX regular dual 2 ohms like it comes without spending an extra 25$ to get it specially made.

i don't h ave the 1200 i have the 1201.1 they are different, its the upgraded kind. i think im going to go with the 15 inch xxx and the brutus 1500.
