Help me pick subs for SQ

Ok.. I currently have a 12in Infinity Kappa Sub in a sealed box. I also just got a pair of JL WO 10's. The way I have my Camaro setup, it will be a pain to switch them out just to test the JL's. Im pushing the Infinity with a 800watt rms amp, and I am not giving it nowhere near full power.

All my mids and highs are polk's new signature reference series, and I tought about selling all the subs to get a polk sr sub to match the rest of my stuff.

What Im after is the most accurate/tightest bass. My heart tells me the JL 10's might sound better, but I wanted to know what you guys think.

my ears tell me jl audio won't sound better than alumapro.

that's just my opinion, and i'm biased.

i just orderd two boston G5 12" subs. Im gonna compare them to some infinitys that i have. Everybody says they are great sounding subs

will sound better than the infinity's for sure. i heard some g5's before in a mangunm. sounded pretty good.

Well I put the jl's in today and they didn't even compare to the Infinity. I put the 12 back in. I wanted these to sound better because they are new and look great. Oh well I guess mean green will stay for now.

Anyone want 2 JL 10's for 75 bucks?

I think 10 years ago they were one of the best. Now... they are mediocre. I do not know about the MX, Im only referring to the original Alchemy.

i hear ya, i've got a 10" alusonic in one of their bandpass enclosures and that set-up still impresses me. when i referred to the alchemy i meant the mx although i've never heard one. i'm going on my enclosure and raves i've read on this and other forums.

I've heard the JBL W10GTI MKII subs have excellent sound quality, thats the 10" model, but they have all the way to 15, depending what you're lookin for.
