I have been wanting to put a good system in my work truck.

I am buying a in dash double din, and q logic box for some subs.

None of this has to be top of the lines, being it is just my work truck.

I need 6x8's up front (5x7's will work)

6x8's rear, 5x7's will work also.

I will look at component sets with tweets if the price is right.

I'd like to spend around 300.00 for all the speakers. I will pick out my amp depending on what speakers I get.

Thanks!

Nothing yet, I picked up a 2003 F350 instead.

Hoping to get a Eclipse in dash from Louisiana_CRX. I will then pick out some speakers. I might go with Boston Acoustic or something a long those lines. Low power is key.

Agreed with this here. Since you have the unit pulled out of the car/dash...test it at your car battery directly for operation. very simple to do...
