And? If they want to play over 40hz u would adjust your LPF not sub sonic. Sub sonic is so u don't play to low/ to far below tunning to bottom out/damage a woofer.

The reason you don't need one is because you tune so low. If you tune to play more bandwidth flat you can't tune as low so you need a sub sonic.

30-33hz tunning isn't low for daily. I can play 50hz 60hz 70hx just fine with my woofers and still murder 20hz... Sure it's gunna drop off alittle in the higher range but it still plays every note just fine. This is basic stuff

Ever put it on a meter to see what its really doing? The higher the frequency gets the louder you think it is. Pressure will tell you how high it really is. You know what happens when you start playing this game with me. Port area is a determining factor also. That's how prefabs can go without a SS because they don't enough port area to matter.

Also moving some air isn't murdering, that's just cones moving.

Also do you know how slopes on crossovers work?

Where in VA are you? I know 2 DD dealers that might be able to get you a good deal on a M1. Those put out power.

Check out Bryant radio but there is also a dealer in Bristal. Go with cash in hand and work out your price.

Go with the sundown. If anything happens to the DD, you may have a hard time getting them to warranty it.
