Help me pick out a car PLEASE

Well I have a 2002 mitz eclispe GTS and I dont recall them putting turbo's in them beyond 1999. I could be wrong, but when I bought mine, that is what they said at the dealership. But after owning one for a better part of 4 years, have to say I love it and hate it. I love it for its looks and the interior is very comfortable once I get in it, lol! I hate it cause it really isnt that fast. Once it gets going, does ok, but from 0-60 is sluggish. It is so much heavier than the older ones. One other main thing I hate about it is it has a turning radius of a ocean liner! So I would say get it if you want to mod the shit out of it and redo the suspension. Other words would check into the 99 and down eclispes with the turbos. Those move pretty good. Good luck!

Oh yeah to tell you how slow it is 0-60, my 06 Ford Focus ST with a whopping 151hp beat my GTS from stop light to stop light, which was about 1/4 a mile, maybe, not really sure. I was like dammit dad, where you messing with me. Was like I smashed on it. Then he was like you just beat me in a sedan grocery getter, ahaha!

I know you said you wanted a turbo'd/supercharged car, but thought I might suggest something

I own a 98 Acura Integra GS-R, and I enjoy it a lot. Redline is 8100 and has vtec.

It's not fast by any means, nor is it slow. It's inbetween I would say.

I just suggested it because it would be in your priced range.

that would be a really nice car, but insurence is quite expensive for that car, at least it was when i looked.

Id serch for a 300zx wont have original engine on it but ive found some nice ones with 50-60k for under 7000

Look for a Porsche 924 or 944... They are old, but they are fast, fun and very sporty. They cost more than usual to upkeep but they are well worth the effort.
the thing is, i have to pay for everything myself and i usually don't have money for expensive upkeep. i am in college and i have a part time job making sandwiches at panera bread, so that may not be in my best interest. my insurance company would also have me grabbing my ankles
