i currently have a pioneer 2900mp deck i got couple of years ago and now i want to upgrade my deck. right now i have a hifonics amp and a diamond audio sub. since my deck doesn't have 3 preouts im looking for one that does so i can hoop up a 4 ch amp. im looking at a pioneer 6000 or alpine 9886 or 9884. i alsop get alot of engine noise and was wondering if i get a 4vlot preout will help.

the engine noise a problem that occurs in most pioneer decks specially noticable

when you're running your mids off a 4 chan amp but there is a solution to it

i would also recommend you the alpine and eclipse decks

im running a 9811 alpine and i'm very pleased with it....its simple not a lot of gadgets

but meh...im very satisfied for what it is

i would look at the 9855-9887-9835-9815 if i were you i believe they're all 4 volt pre outs

and have 3 pairs each

budget i have 300 btw im using a hifonics 2ch amp. if i get the newer pioneer decks such as the 6000 will decrease the engine noise, and for the amp wise will i be able to turn the gain down

With a 300 dollar budget, I would get the Pioneer/Premier 800 PRS or 880 PRS

The alt whine issue is due to hot swapping the RCAs more than likely. That's when you are pulling shit out of the amp or back of the HU while they are on. And should it happen still, there is a thread or 2 on here that shows you how to ground the rcas. That being said, I am leaning heavily towards an Eclipse Hu for my next setup. I currently have the 800PRS and I love it.

i think the 9886 has a better processor so in return better sound quality

i use to own a pioneer deh 6800 back in gr 10...my 9811 sounds better even

though i have less tunning features

x2 for the Alpine. The Pioneer has more bells and whistles, but ever since I switched to Alpine; I have had no problems with noise or sound quality.
