Help me pick an amp for this sub!

Hey i just got my 2002 12" solo L7 and i was wondering what amp i should get to push them... I narrowed it down to two choices.... the JBL bp600.1 and the Rockford bp 500.1 The JBL amp is about $40 cheaper than the rockford amp but which will perform better with the 1-12" solo.... which has cleaner power and which will make the speaker hit harder?

Although the jbl is cheaper and a darn good amp the rock will out peform it and has better features so spend the extra 40 $.
