Help me pick a Tablesaw!

try and talk the dude down on the first one.....last thing u wanna do is get it, make a couple of cuts and have the motor stop.

The nice thing about it is its belt driven.Meaning if the motor does take a shit,the saw is still good.

Out of those 2, definitely the first one.

Cast Iron top FTW. The second looks like it has a very poor fence system. With the first one, you can easily upgrade the fence to a biesemeyer or similar in the future if you want to. IMO, the fence is the most important part of the saw.

i have the first tablesaw and i love it havent had any problems yet.

I also have #1. It has been great. #2 is lite and because of this will not be steady for heavier material (like MDF) FYI. Got mine on CL for $60 earlier this year.

Well, I found another one for sale, same model as the first one. Same price. So, if both of those are gone I guess I'll have to try to find another one. Haha.
