Help me pick a sub...

I need recommendations for my next sub setup. The box will be 2 cubic feet sealed. FOR SURE. I was thinking a 15" XXX. What sub/combination of subs will sound good in 2 cubes sealed. HELP

Looking for SQL by the way. Id like to throw anywhere from 1000-2500 at these subs, depending on what I choose.

I dunno about a 15 XXX in 2 cubes sealed. U might be chokin it quite a bit there.

For sure a 15 RLP will work great in that space though. With about 800-1200 watts. And the reason I do recommend this sub is because I am considering it myself and Im pretty sure as soon as I get my new car I will buy the sub. I will probably put it in 2.3 cubes though.

And the RLP is GREAT for SQL. Also only around $250 direct at soundsplinter.com

Soundsplinter RLP would be great in that space, mine gets about 1000 watts. Or TC Sounds 2000, or 3000. Adire Brahma too, I am not an RE fan so I am biased, too much money and now they owned by someone else

I dunno why but I love JL subs

i dunno how 2 12" jls would do in 2 cubes, ive always used more for them.

but I love how my old 12w3v2s sounded

I would be inverting the XXX so it would be getting roughly 2.14 cubes. RE recommends 2 cubes. I was also thinking a si mag 15, also. I wanna make sure its as loud as possible

doesnt matter if your inverting it but what model xxx....price point the mag sounds like the winner here and with the given space...strange and I own a xxx oh well...it hasnt came in yet but I would do a mag with what you have available plus the mag is a great sub for the price

i was also thinking a mag since u said sealed, rlp is also a very good woofer, but i liked mine ported alot better than i did sealed

Yes, it does matter that I'm inverting it, that gives me another 1/4 cube to work with. And It would be an 05 xxx. I dont really concider the mag a great sub "for the price" at 500 plus shipping, but hey, it may be well worth it. The main thing I'm worried about here is spl, I know most of the subs I will be deciding between will sound goot, especially sealed. With that being said I'm concidering SI Mag 15, XXX15, RLP15, what else? Help...

Another thing to add...Low end is a MUST!!! I listen to mostly rap, so w/e sub I choose has to be loud(for a sealed app.) and hit low notes.

ascendant audio arsenal 15! the cheapest woofer of all those mentioned but can keep up with the rlp!

What about the Havoc 15? Anyone heard any pro's or con's on those?
