alright i've heard that if i build a box for my rockford t2 and the port is off what the recommended size is that i will blow my sub is their any one out their that knows anything about this or that can prove what ive heard wrong.i juss dont want to blow my subs you know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

 
If you have a box that's tuned too high, (50Hz, for example) and there's nothing stopping your subwoofer (A Subsonic or Highpass filter, for example) from playing notes far below (20Hz) the tuning frequency of the enclosure (50Hz) then your sub may over-excurt (move too far) and damage itself mechanically.
