i am adding a second battery to the back to run my zx1500.1 and zx850.4

so how many fuse holders will i need do i need two for the pos run from the front to the back one by the front and onee by the back, then i dont want to use distrubution blocks so i will also need one from the back battery to each amp or do i need 2 for each amp one by the battery and one close to the amp

no that wont work i have dual 1/0 inputs but i will have both taken up and i still need one more 1/0 input for power wire to my amp

so basically i am gonan need 2 holders for pos wire from front to back, one for big 3, and one to go in between the battery and dist block, for that one do i wire close to battery or amp for the fuse holder

no i am running a pos and neg of 1/0 from the front to back

so thats 2 holders, and i need one for big 3 of course for the alt upgrade, then i have 2 amps a zx1500.1 and zx850.4

so i was gonna put a fuse holder btweetn the batt and the dist block and run power wires from the block to amps the power wires will only be maybe 2-3feet tops

i already have 2 holders so i need 2 more for sure but should just forget the dist block and fuse power wires for both amps from battery so i will be needing 5 total so i need 3 more

I replied to your PM, I misunderstood your first post here.

How do you figure? You don't fuse the (-) wire. No reason to do so whatsoever.
What is the other input to your distro block going to?
He needs to fuse within 12-18 inches of each battery? which will equal 2 holders on the positive wire?

i have a kicker dist block has 1 1/0 input and 1 1/0 ouput so if i send a pos wire to the block and then send the other to the back battery that leaves me with no 1/0 spots

i need 2 fuse holders for the pos run from the front to the back correct

fuse close to the front and the back battery on the pos run

The you don't have a distro with multiple inputs. Mine have 2 1/0 inputs and 3 4ga outputs, fused on the (+) side and not on the (-) side. I run a (+) and (-) wire from the front battery to the distro with a fuse near the battery. In the back, I run a (+) and (-) to the second input on the distros with a fuse near the battery. Nice and simple.

fuse close to the front and the back battery on the pos run
Exactly. If you are efficient with the other hardware in the system, those are the only big fuse holders you'll need.

gonna have two 300amp fuse holders on the pos run from front to back, 300amp fuseholder on the alt to batt on the big 3, and then for the zx850 can i get away using the 150amp fuse holder and the 1500 if possible or will i need bigger for the 1500
