help me on wiring

ok one run of 1/0 from front batt to back battery so thats 2 holders

then one for the big 3 thats 3 holders so far

then i need a holder for the pos wire from rear battery to the amp

so thats 4 total i have 2 as of now need 2 more

my question is can i use a 150anl fuse for my zx1500

 
well i just ordered 2 more waterproof fuse holders to fit 0 guage online off ebay both for 30 shipped hard to beat

so i got everything set

is this wiring right

a pos run from front to back fuse 300anl within 12-18inches of 1st and 2nd battery, then i am gonna fuse the zx1500.1 with a 300anl and fuse the zx850 with a 150anl

and then for big 3 fuse the alt to pos with a 300anl, and do the ground connections as well

and then run a 1/0 from front battery to back battery and ground the amps to the back battery

 
haha well besides that everything should be good to go only thing tyhats gonna **** is doing the big 3
Depends on your car man. :p Some cars are so easy to do the big 3 on it takes minutes, other cars (like mine) take quite a bit longer. My alternator was under the engine, so jacking up car and taking off tire to reach the + bolt sucked. :p

 
if you have a modular ford v8 (4.6 or 5.4) the alternator is right on top of the belt assembly, almost touches the intake manifold. and the pos. terminal is on the very top of the back of the alternator (12 o'clock). just pull the rubber boot off, remove the nut and add a small run of fused 1/0 with a ring terminal, replace nut, connect to batt and done. you dont have to remove anything other that the rubber boot and nut holding the factory 6ga red w black stripe power wire on.

 
do you have voltage drops now or you wanna do this in case? im gonna do it to my 4.6 but i dont have any voltage issues so ive been putting it off so i cant really tell ya what youd notice. but it definetly wouldnt be bad to folw more power to your batteries. I did 1 of the big three this weekend when changing my intake manifold gaskets but only because the corroded factory ground strap broke off from the block to the chassis.

 
well thats the 04 and up i have a 01 which is a totally differnt engine but yea right now with a stock 130amp alt and a gold duralast upfront only which is rated at 1000amps with no lights on at idle full tilt it drops to low 13's high 12's with lights on it drops down to around low 12's high 11's and thats only on 1200rms and wensday i am doubling the power but will have a stinger spv70 in the back for the amps and will have the big 3 done at least the 2 grounds for sure
