help me on sound deadener

ok then i read some reviews on B-Quiet extreme and see that its not too bad either anyone have input on that stuff
Are you blind or just stupid? I dont mean to be blunt, but as Rudy mentioned, just 2 replies up, there was a lengthy discussion on this same topic on the very same page as this thread. A simple click of the search button, followed by the keystrokes d-e-a-d-e-n-e-r will yield you that thread, plus HUNDREDS more. Yet you expect us to come spoon feed you the info again, because you are too lazy to go find it yourself.
I pre-apologize for being rude, but I find this sort of laziness, while expecting others to wait on you, very tiresome. Do a little work yourself.

i did search and i read mixed reviews about fatmat and b-quiet and e dead some said held up fine and did its job others said didnt stick and fell off the surfaces

ok theking, theyve been bluntly honest. dont. buy. that. shit. just man up and put the money down. youll pay later if you skimp. dont buy edead, fatmat, bquiet, any of that shit. get raamat atleast, and up to second skin if your willing to put more down ($)

Oh you've searched. Then, along with those mixed reviews, you've also found a link to sound deadenershowdown.com, which tests all the major brands, spells out their material type, and even gives suggestions and recommendations based off this testing. If you've searched you've also seen the author of that test, Rudy, explain numerous times how he arrived at the conclusions he did. If you've searched you've also found foxpro's knowledgeable comments on the subject. You've already read about Elemental Design's past history of making inferior products and then lying about their quality. You've already learned that FatMat, dynamat original, and peel n seal are pretty much the same product.
So, since you've already researched, and know the great benefits of butyl over asphalt, the fallacy behind the idea that the cheaper asphalt mat is a better value, and that the best bang for your buck budget conscious mat on the market today is raamat BXT... I must ask you, what exactly do you expect of this thread, that all the other hundreds of threads on this subject you already looked thru did not provide?

B-Quiet Extreme is asphalt. Get the idea of using any asphalt product out of your mind. Anybody can get decent reviews for a sound deadener because very few people have experience with more than 1 or 2 brands. Even fewer have compared multiple brands side by side.

Durability is not important because you need so much more asphalt to equal the performance of butyl/aluminum foil that it actually costs you more to use a product that may or may fail instead of one you know will not. Save money by buying less of a decent product - reliable, less work, better performance. Easy as that.

thick > thin //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
Umm... not really

We can take a butyl adhesive that is 45 mils thick and double the thickness simply by leaving it in the mixer and pushing more air bubbles in to teh mixture.

a 100 gallon batch can easily turn in to a 200 gallon batch by manipulating the oxygen content.

45 mils

90 mils

.5 lbs per sq foot regardless..

Looks at Damplifier for example.

It is 15% thinner than Dynamat Extreme yet weighs the same exact amoun...

I do believe the god has spoken. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif No but seriously please listen to what I and others have said or will pay the price later.

ok so i should go with raamat and do one inner and one outter min and then 2 layers on the roof since i have bad vibration on the roof
