help me make a wise decision

i just bought 2 type r but i need an amp to power them, i recently got 2 prs-d3000spl amps (500@ 2 ohms 1000@2 ohms), but i want something better, so my choices re:

a) mtx ta8001 1500w @ 1 ohms

b) 2 mtx tc8001 800w @ 2 ohms

c) 2 mrd-1005 1000w @ 2 ohms

d) usamps m2d 1800w @ 1 ohms

e) any other you recomend

also budget is 500 i know that c is a little expensive but if its worth it who knows

what voice coil configureation are the subs. dual 2 or dual 4

Good best way to run subs besides 0.5 Ohm. You can run your 2 type-R's at 1 ohm and you will get the most power to your subs with what ever amp you chose provided you get a 1 ohm stable amp but these days most of the amps are. Good luck! MRD-m1005 are hella good amps too! Little $$ though!

yeap i know that i can drive them at 1 ohm into 1 amp or at 2 ohm in 2 diferent amps, but my question is what will give the best results?

get a 1 ohm stable 1000watt + mono block amp. a USamps MD1D would work perfectly

Quite frankly I don't see why you don't use what you already have and not spend anything?!?

The PRS-series Premier amps are rock-solid units without a doubt.

Since you've got a pair of D4 subs and a pair of amps that makes more than adequate power @ 2 Ohms....umm....1 amp per 1 sub and call it a day?
