Help me jbl 1200.1

I got a jbl 1200.1 and a cerwin vega stroker 15 dvc.

the amp is 1200 rms and the sub is 1200 rms so thats a perfect match right ? and i should hook them up in parrell right ?

just checking cause it dont thump as hard as i want it too.. any thing im doin wrong ?

ps.i dont got a power cap i just ordered one though .. is that the problem ?

nice little system

...whats the rating on the amp, whats the coil config on the sub?

did you properly set your gain?

send that cap back and save that money towards a new alt

Hmm.. whats wrong with a cap ? why get a altanator if a cap could give me the edge im missing.

well im not sure what to set the bass boost , x over frequency, and input level too.. and what you mean by rating?
