I would think it is 100% possible in that price range if you don't mind going through a few enclosures of course. I still say we should do a contest for $150 total cost(sub(s)/amp(s)/materials) and see who can get the highest spl.

I have built a few sealed boxes for single cab trucks and simple 1 sub boxes for cars. So the box is not an issue. We were looking at maybe 500 - 800 real watts. I like the Sundown products so I will look into the 15 and try to find one cheap.
