Help Me Get MORE BASS PLEASE!!!!

Ok, I'm absolutely going CRAZY at the lack of bass in my 07 Charger. I didn't want much bass in it (I also have a magnum with 3 JL w3's in it and that's perfect), but what I have now in this Charger is absolutely pathetic. I can barely hear it.

Hifonics BIX608

300w @ 2ohms

600w @ 1 ohm

Sub

JL w3v2-4 wired @ 2ohm load

Ported Box

Please help me choose the best option to get more out of my system for the least amount of money/hassle:

1. Get a new dual 2ohm sub so I can get 600w out of the amp.

2. Get another w3v2-4, a new box, and wire them for a 1 ohm load.

3. Scrap the w3's, get a new box, and two dual2ohm type R's.

yea I saw that today. Not to mention there is a layer of deadening on the top shelf where the 6x9's are. The seat doesn't lay down unfortunately.

as for the mtx......no

2000w RMS.........no, lol

I'm almost tempted to put the subwoofer in the back seat, lol. If I didn't have my magnum to rely on, I'd be going crazy

remove the insulation!

you need more power, or same power with more cone area and efficient subs!

300w on 1 12 wont get very loud

Get another jl and wire them up to 1 ohm in a nice ported box=done.

why not just mold a box for the center of the rear floor. then you wouldnt have to change any sub or amp....and it would look great. pm me if u need the idea thats in my light bulb

type r's will get you louder, but not with that power. you would need more

That setup is capable of getting decently loud... You should remove the speakers from the rear deck before you try anything else.

Not only are the 6x9's there, but there is a casing below the speakers, then insulation on the top side of the shelf.

I'll remove the installation first. Then remove that bottom shelf, followed by removal of the 6x9's.
